Maintaining Your Cool Coat
Wetting
From dry place your cool coat in a warm water bath (sink) to get it completely rehydrated, wring out with the sequins folded together. Then put either in the freezer or to use right away in an ice water bath.
Washing
Place in a sink with warm water and a small amount of dish soap and a teaspoon of baking soda. Wash and rinse well. Wring out with the sequins folded together.
Storing
You can store dry by laying flat and letting it dry then fold it with the sequins together. To store it wet; fold it with the sequins together place it in a bag and put it in the freezer. When thawing out do not pull the chamois away from itself as it will tear. Run under warm water to thaw faster.
Unless you are storing it in the freezer, DO NOT leave in a plastic bag without drying first as it will MOLD. If it ever does mold, the trick is Borax and Bleach (1:1) together in a small basin/bucket. Rinse really well.
